Privacy Policy

TextInvoice (“we,” “us”) is operated by Altitude Information Systems, LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We keep it short and plain.

Information we collect

Phone number. Your mobile number is how your account is identified and how you create invoices (by text) and sign in (by one-time code).

Invoice content. The messages you send us to create invoices, and the invoice details that result — work performed, amounts, service address, and the customer name/email/contact you add.

Account and profile. We require your first and last name as private account details. They do not appear on invoices unless you separately choose to enter a public invoice-facing name. Your optional business name, invoice-facing name, logo, default rate, and payment-method handles (e.g. Venmo/Zelle) may appear on invoices.

Usage. Basic events like when an invoice is created, sent, opened, or marked paid, plus privacy-conscious website events such as a demonstration starting, a call-to-action click, or signup completion. These events do not include names, phone numbers, customer details, addresses, or invoice amounts.

Campaign attribution. If a link includes standard UTM campaign parameters, we may store the first source, campaign, and landing path associated with your account so we can understand which outreach works.

How we use it

To turn your texts into invoices, deliver invoices you choose to send, let you sign in, show you your history and activity, and operate and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.

SMS / text messaging

By texting our number you consent to receive SMS related to your invoices and account (e.g. invoice links and login codes). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not share your mobile information with third parties for their own marketing.

Service providers

We use trusted vendors to run the service: our SMS provider (AgentPhone) for texting, Resend for email delivery, Supabase for database/storage, Vercel for hosting and aggregate website analytics, PostHog for privacy-conscious campaign and product analytics, and Anthropic (Claude) to parse your messages into invoices. They process data only to provide these functions.

Retention & security

We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to operate the service, and we take reasonable measures to protect it. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

Your choices

You can opt out of texts (reply STOP), edit your profile, or request that we delete your account and associated data by contacting us.
